Innsbruck, Austria
With a population of 120,000, Innsbruck is just the right size:
not too big and not too small. Hours were spent wandering around
the Old Town area in the city center
marveling at the beauty and architecture of the buildings. You
can cycle along the river runnning through town and then head
up to the foothills of the nearby mountains for some belly-busting
exercise. Innsbruck easily earns the "two-thumbs up"
from this traveler and rates as one of my favorite cities in
Europe. The Hilton Innsbruck, a few
blocks from the city center as well as the train station, is
an excellent place to use as a base for exploring the area.
